I decided to take to this Inktober thing just for the challenge. I kept up with the daily drawings, but it’s the scanning and online posting that I’ve been lazy with. Based on Mr Jake Parker official prompt list (http://mrjakeparker.com/inktober/), here is “fast”.
My friend Lil Ann, whom I am documenting her life on my new blog The Lady and the Frog, has kindly been modeling for it.
A thirty something woman walks in a park, by a pond. A frog asks her to kiss him, and promises he’ll turn into a prince. What to do? What will she do?

It’s been a few years in the pipeline and I finally found the time and courage to put it out there. Please visit, and don’t forget to share, follow and comment if you like it. I will aim to update twice a week for the next few months.
Poor Bramble. With all this noise, she can’t concentrate. And the Guinea pigs are not helping.
Everyone who has a cat knows about their habit of jumping into your bed a stupid hour, demanding some attention, now. What about a little revenge in the middle of the afternoon, just once? Will the cat understand?
I feel like the Old Wizard, Bramble the Rabbit, Grump Spud and Bob the guinea pigs, Meenoo the cat and Hariet the tarantula: tired but satisfied after a long evening working. The last illustration of a children’s picture book is finally done. The next step will be placing and improving the text. Oh, and Bramble is meant to be spotty too.
Bramble and Harriet decide to take the magic carpet and look for Meenoo, their cat friend.
Two pages spread of my first children illustrated book that I’m about to finish.
Based on an ink drawing, I used original pictures to use as textures on the rock, the trees and the grass.
My lovely wife, who works in a school, asked me to make some signs inviting her pupils to wash their hands before cookery lessons. That’s what I came up with.
Rummaging through an old pile of paper, I found those two little dudes I drew many years ago. If anyone thinks rabbits are only cute and cuddly, this illustration is to show they are not. They can be quite brutal and hold their own in a fight. With their speed, they’d do good hockey player!
